The Drymistat© is a revolutionary new way to keep bassoons humidified. It originally was made for using in cigar humidors to help keep cigars from drying out. I decided to try them (instead of Damp-its©) in my bassoon during the past winter and suffered none of the issues that many bassoonists in the New England area suffer (shrinking of the wood etc) because of low humidity during the fall and winter months.
